Mojo Easel Card

Stampin' UP! put out this video on how to make an Easel card.  I've been wanting to make one for awhile now.  Following these instructions made it sooooooo easy!

For my card I used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO228) to design the card front, and the colors I chose simply by going through all my colors and finding ones I hadn't used in awhile.  Can you believe I haven't been using Perfect Plum & Elegant Eggplant?  I suppose Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush have been keeping me enthralled.  :)  I do love my purples.  I paired these with Blushing Bride for a bit of contrast and used Very Vanilla as my base.

It's pretty close.  I didn't have the right punches or dies to copy the sketch exactly, but I used what I had and made it work.  That's really what inspiration is all about, use the ideas on this blog as a starting point to create something yourself.  I would love to see what you are creating!

Have been looking into hand made dresses for our little girl fairly recently, playing with the idea of
making her a tiny natural onesie because I have seen some
very nice inspiration
