Are you stuck for an idea on what to make for your Valentine? How about a special album? It could be about the places you have been together or the places you want to go. You could have pictures of the two of you together, or just you. You could make a "coupon" book or even just a book about why you love that special someone. My Valentine got this special book for Christmas of his favorite toy, but it could easily have been a Valentine book.
To make a book like this, take grunge board (or even the thicker cardboard sheet that comes in the packaging of our specialty paper.) and cover it with your favorite Designer Series Paper. (DSP) Add as many pages as you want. To make my pages I cut 12x12 cardstock in half and then folded those 6x12 in sheets in half to give it more stability. You could also cover the thinner cardboard that comes in the DSP packages with paper. Next I punched a hole in the top and bottom of each page along with the covers, and I stuck a key ring through the holes. (found at most office supply stores like Office Depot and Staples) To finish it off I decorated the pages and added ribbon to the rings.
Here's a look at the inside.
Creative Blessings,
Heather North
