Wishing You Joy

I did a bit of inlaid die cutting for this beauty and used up scraps on my desk from other projects.  Don't you just love cards that come together like that?  :) So fast and easy to make, yet it turned out to be one of my favorites!!!

This collection is almost sold out, and once it is you won't be able to purchase it again until 2017.  If you want yours before this year's holiday season jump on over to cpstampofapproval.com and pick yours up today!

Winter Berry Love SOA Candy Cane Lane

This card is Clean & Simple, yet still lovely.  I stamped the berry branches in different directions on the smaller label included in the Merry Labels Fri-Dies set.  I then popped them up on a strip of red cardstock I had embossed using the Peppermint Stick background.  I've gotten a lot of miles out of that background stamp and I'm sure I'll be using it for years to come.  Here is a close up so you can see the embossing a bit better.

Watercolor Stripes

During a recent challenge over at StampNation I saw a card made by one of the fabulous guest design team members, Michelle Wallace.  I just had to go to my stamp desk to CASE her and this is what I came up with.

Not one, but 2 cards!  I just love them both!!!

Playful Christmas Sneak Peek

Today is the day that the new Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane collection goes on sale to StampNation members and those who are on the wait list.  It's also challenge day at StampNation.  The challenge is Playful Christmas.  You know I had to grab the Candy Cane Lane and Hip Holiday stamp sets for this one.

I used the Merry Label dies and made a little window for my stag head to poke through.  Isn't he cute?!!!  He wasn't the first card I made for this challenge though...

Originally I made this wonky tree card for the challenge, but when Catherine said she wanted to use this card for the PDF, I decided to make it available to everyone and used it as my blog hop day card.   That way I could film a video and show you how to get the multi-colored peppermint stick background. Speaking of blog hops, today is the last day to comment on all the designers blog hop pages for your chance to win a box of your own!  You can start at my blog post from Monday, clicky.

Come back tomorrow for another card made using more of the Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane collection.
