Sometimes being creative means taking pictures of "pretty things". Recently I played with setting on my iPhone to take pictures of florals. It is interesting to see how different settings can change the image even before editing. My favorite for flowers is portrait mode. It gives a soft background like the macro setting on my DSLR.
Many of these pictures were taken at the Hearthfire Grill in Olympia, WA while my husband and I were on a date night. <3 Others were taken on a visit to Alderbrook Inn.
When was the last time you took out your camera and played with settings? Have you tried taking pictures from different angles in different lights? What do you like to photograph?
