Sew Saturday ~ Quilt, Knit, Stitch Portland

This weekend is the Quilt, Knit, Stitch Show in Portland, OR.  We will be passing through Portland on our way to a family wedding, and I was hoping to stop in.  Not sure if that is going to happen, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Any ideas on what the guys could do while I wander the convention center?  If you are local, or within driving distance, it would be worth checking out this huge event.

While you are in Portland, I hear that the Fabric Depot is an awesome place to shop.  ;)   They have a huge outdoor clearance sale in the summer.  Depending on traffic we may end up driving right by it.  :)   Although I can't imagine my teenage boys wanting to stop and look at bolts of fabric.  It sounds like heaven to me.   If I don't make it there this trip, I think I will plan a trip by myself just to go shopping there and visit Multnomah Falls.   It's only an hour and a half away.  Sounds like a "back to school" plan for me.

I hope you got to stop for a while at the show, but with all those males in the car, I'm not sure that happened! I like your back-to-school plan, though. Maybe you can find a partner in crime to go with you, if you want company.

You are right, Susan, we didn't stop. Actually we ended up having break trouble on the SUV, so we had to get a rental car to make it the rest of the way to the wedding.

Thank you, Susan. The wedding was beautiful. I'm so glad we got to share in their special day. <3
