Happy "almost" St. Patrick's Day. This card can go so many ways. I planned on saying "Good Luck", but as I was looking through my stamp sets for that sentiment, Wish Big (from Word Play) jumped out at me.
There are so many sentiments that would work with this design, that I'm thinking about making a few more to have on hand. (Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, Remember When, Good Luck, Friend, So Sorry, etc.) It's a great way to use up those scraps of paper, or extra punches you have on your table after making another project.
I knew I wanted to make a rainbow card this week leading up to St. Patrick's Day. I wasn't alone. The folks over at Hand Stamped Sentiments have a challenge going on that fits my theme perfectly...
I was also inspired by Catherine Pooler to create this card using the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Folder. It's so simple! Take scraps of colored cardstock, and run them through your embossing folder or punch them out with one (or more) of your favorite shaped punches. Most of the colors used for this card came from my Brights scraps. ;) I used the Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid glue to adhere these so they wouldn't lose the texture.
To stamp the sentiment, I colored in the star with a Daffodil Delight Marker, the "Wish" in a Riding Hood Red Marker, and "BIG" in Pacific Point. It was super easy to make, but I am more than willing to film a video for you if you want to see it in action. :) Just let me know in the comments section or send me an email.
Come back tomorrow to see my St. Patrick's Day card.
