Wonderful Papillion ~ Part 3

When I first sketched out this card I only planned to make two of them.  A simple version using a punch and a stepped up version using Framelits.  But, when I started making them I knew I could step it up further and do a "step 3" card.   (I guess watching all those step it up videos my upline is fabulous at making finally paid off for me.  lol)

This final version of the card is very similar to the second card.  I just added one thing and changed another.   Watch the video to see how I made this one.

In this version of the card, my butterfly has linen thread instead of Baker's Twine.

I also added a sentiment with some bling to my final card.

I'm curious, which card is your favorite?

This is gorgeous! I love all the texture and those beautiful butterflies!

I have no idea which is my fave - they're all lovely! I possibly love the first one most, as it's really simple. But I'd love to see the first card with the Lacy Brocade EF if you fancy making another! :D

Heather, these cards are beautiful! It's hard to pick a favorite, but I have to say I'm leaning towards card three. I do love the embossing folder you used on the first one though. Is that SU also?

What a neat idea-the step it up! I've never heard of it. I like them all but I'd have I go with card #3! I like the added bling! ;-)

Nathalia, yes the EF is SU. :)
Bexx, I was thinking about making this card again in another color. What color would you like to see?
Brandie, I'm with you. I think I like the added bling too.

I enjoyed all 3 cards, and it's hard for me to say which I like best. I think I might like a combo...Using the flower punch and butterfly and the message on No. 3. :)

Have never used those glue dots so you showed me something that would really help and to add to my supplies~

Your work with these butterflies has been breath-takingly beautiful, Heather! What artistry!

I don't think I ever answered your question about the crown I use on my Queen for the Day cards. Sorry to be so late! The crown is a tiny 1 inch trinket my son brought home for my shadow box after visiting the Crown Jewels in London way back in 1990.

Lynn, that makes it even more special. I love that the crown has a "story". :)

Hi Heather, I'm visiting from Stamp Nation. I love all 3 versions of this card and have CASEd it in the past (saw it on Pinterest and didn't know it was yours). To be honest I think I like step 1 the best! I used the design to make some sets of notecards.

How fun that you saw me on Pinterest before finding me here, and that you CASEd me! :) You just made my day.
