Today's card had a sketch from
Retro Sketches, and my favorite new stamp set called, Affection Collection, but what I didn't have was a clue on what colors to use. I decided to grab one of the new InColors, Primrose Petals, and see if I could find inspiration in one of my paper packs. I found inspiration in a "retro" pack.
It's a shame that Concord Crush retired, because it looks so vibrant with Primrose Petals! I love this color combo. (Basic Grey, Primrose Petals, Concord Crush and Pretty in Pink)
After discovering this retired DSP in my stash, it was easy to put this card together. The hardest part became deciding which side of the paper to use.
The link is now closed for this week's sketch, and I didn't get my card done in time to submit it, but it's still a great sketch and I hope you will give it a try.
Creative Blessings,
Heather North

I love what you have created with this beautiful layout, Heather. Great clear button embellishment over your fishtail flag!
The colors worked out great-lovely card and sketch!
I know just what you mean about double sided paper because I can never decide what side to use either! Love your interpretation of the sketch and I adore that stamp set - so pretty. i can see why it's your favorite
Your colours are wonderful and the pattern on the paper is great with the stamp you used.
Great job with the sketch, love the color combo! And I am with you on the double sided paper, it pains me to put adhesive on the "wrong" side!
It is a great sketch and your card is lovely. Great choice on the color combo!
