Here we are at Day 3 and I am still focused on watercoloring. It has become something I enjoy and find relaxing. Not everyday is a masterpiece, and that is ok, because I am learning. Practicing without planning on using the piece can be very freeing. I encourage you to just "play" without worrying about completing a piece.
On this day I played with some wet-on-wet techniques with flowers and leaves. For those of you who have never tried it, you create a shape with water and then add ink/paint to your brush and drop color into the wet surface. It's so cool to see the color move & bloom. I also worked on lavendar, leaves. grasses and lilacs.
I was inspired by a few youtube videos.
