Lovely Lilac Tulips

Yesterday I spent a little time out in my flower beds pulling weeds and checking out the bulbs that are starting to push up.  It's so fun to see the dead looking flower bed start to emerge with new life from the roots buried beneath the soil.

That's what inspired me to pull out this tulip stamp and my Copic markers.  Right now there are just green leaves poking out, but soon my flower bed will be awash with color.

Linking up with 2 fabulous challenges today:

Stampin' Celebration

Stamps: Blessed Easter (SU), Tiny Tags (SU)
Copics: G21, RV93, V12, V15, YG63, YG67
Ink: Trunk Bay Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels), Tuxedo Black (Memento), Wink of Stella Glitter Pen
Misc.: Garden Vines Stencil (Memory Box), Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon (SU), White Baker's Twine, Jewelry Tag Punch, Scallop Trim Punch (SU)

This spring beauty is just what I needed to see on a day like today! After having some springy days we were hit with another winter storm dumping 6 inches of snow:(

Beautiful card, Heather. It has me longing for spring as I look outside my window to snow, snow and more snow. We are supposed to get up to 2 feet! :( Just the other day we had mud in our driveway, not anymore. boohoo

Very pretty card! Just what I needed to see on a dreary, rainy day. =) My tulips are up, too, several inches, but not enough to bud yet. The redbud trees are breaking out, though! Spring is really going to come!

Love your card Heather! My crocuses are done, my daffodils are just opening and my tulips will be a couple more weeks yet I think! LOVE spring! We had 17 degrees (celsius) yesterday! Yay!

Thanks for playing;)
