Balloon Celebration

It's Friday!  Let's celebrate!!!  I've had a very long week, and not much creative play time.  I'm looking forward to a weekend of crafting with a little bit of outside time to plant some flowers.  What are your plans?

This is a card I made last week to send to one of my Stampin' Up customers.  Hopefully she has received it, so I don't ruin the surprise.  ;)   My inspiration came for the recent Inspiration Nation event on StampNation.  Check out the video below to learn more about the creation of this card.

A Happy Hello ~ Stampin' Celebration 114

SC114
Check out this collage.  Isn't it a fabulous color combination for fall?  Adding bright blues to the traditional oranges and browns really brightens everything up.

I was inspired by the colors, flowers and dots that jumped out at me from the pictures.  I also gave a nod to the gifts by packaging up my sentiment in a fun square.

Join us over at Stampin' Celebration and see what the rest of the design team has come up with.  They will knock your socks off!  Then be sure to show us how you were inspired.  The challenge runs for 2 weeks, so you have plenty of time to play along.

Mint Thank You ~SC111

What is it about me and the color Mint lately?  I'm drawn to anything mint, aqua and teal.  You should see my lovely fabric collection of these colors.  Swoon.   That is why I was so excited when Stampin' Up! featured a new mint color, Mint Macaron with their 2015-2017 In Colors.

My card today is the second card I made for the current sketch challenge at Stampin' Celebration.  Be sure and check them out and enter your card.  It really is an EASY sketch to work with.

A Happy Hello ~ SC111

It's sketch time today for Stampin' Celebration challenge!  Y'all know how much I like sketch.  This is one I have used several times since I got it.  One of the perks of being on the design team is that we get to see all the challenges 2-3 months ahead of time.  If you check out the last challenge you will see I used this sketch loosely for it too.  Clicky

For my card today I decided to try out my stack of new In-Color DSP in my favorite new color, Mint Macaron.  I can't pronounce it very well, but I love the soft sage-y mint.

While I didn't use the "Dots For Days" stamp set as I have most Mondays this summer, I did choose a dot background.  You could make this paper yourself by heat embossing the Dots For Days onto cardstock.  hmmm....I may have to give that a try, since this is the only DSP stack I have.  I bet this would look yummy in Blackberry Bliss,  what do you think?

Be sure and head on over to Stampin' Celebration to see what the rest of the Design Team created and then link up your own project inspired by this sketch.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Dots For Days Part 3 ~ SC 109

It's time for another sketch challenge at Stampin' Celebration, and another Dots For Days Monday!
This time I used the Dots For Days background stamp as a solid color background stamp.  ;)  It's such a simple way to add a splash of color.  To

To add a little something special I used the Word Window punch to open up a spot for my sentiment, then I covered it & the stars with Crystal Effects.  Nice little touches on a super simple card.  Now I want to see what you can come up with using this sketch as your inspiration.  Be sure to head on over to Stampin' Celebration Challenge to see what the rest of the design team has created and to link up your own project.  Clicky

Dots For Days ~ Sprinkles ~ SC 108

Welcome to Part 2 of my Dots For Days card series.  If you missed the first post you can clicky to read all about it.

SC108

This week's inspiration photo at Stampin' Celebration screams summertime fun to me.  I took my inspiration from all those sprinkles on the ice cream when creating this card.

To make this card I chose bright ink colors and tried to selectively ink up the Dots for Days background stamp.  Then I  punched out a 2" circle and created a little shaker card with sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Stamps: Dots For Days, Tin of Cards (Stampin' Up!)
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie (SU); Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Paper: Whisper White Thick (SU)
Accessories: Window Sheet, 2" Circle Punch (SU); Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh)
