Scraps of Style

Here is another bright cheerful card I made for World Card Making Day.  The idea is so simple.  I was inspired by a JCPenney catalog that came in the mail.  The clothes were laid out in these crumpled "lines".  There towels and linens were too.  I thought it would make a great design for a card.







Here's the video I shot on how to make one yourself, this time with Christmas colors.  If you need a quick card to take to Thanksgiving dinner, this one is it!

 
There is lots of texture and dimension, yet the card lays pretty flat for mailing.  Especially when you don't add a button.  ;)
