Back to Fun-Damentals

We are going back to basics this week for the new Catherine Pooler Designs, Foundations release.  This box is perfect for any stamper, but especially for brand new stampers, because it includes everything you need to get started.  Stamps for just about every occasion that can be mixed and matched with ease, plus high quality bright white (pre-scored) paper, an innovative round clear block design with finger grips and INK!  Yes, you read that right, Catherine has come out with her own line of ink, and you know this is going to be perfection!

When I sat down to create the required 3 cards I overshot my mark and created 9+ the first day.  Usually I struggle with one layer cards and clean & simple design, but not this time.  The ideas were flowing and I felt like I only scratched the surface of the potential of this collection.

Catherine asked us to make a couple of one layer cards and then 1 card that was stepped up just a little.  Here is my stepped up version of the card above.

Video below shows how I made my first 2 cards.

Stamps: For Everything (Catherine Pooler Designs)
Ink: Fiesta Blue, Midnight (CPD)

Paper: Bright White (CPD)
Accessories: Circle Block (Catherine Pooler Designs)

Later this week I will have a video for my 3rd card. (I'm shooting for Friday, if you want to come back here.)  I thought this one was super fun.  When Catherine was asking me what I wanted in a little set I said, an envelope with a heart on it or a heart option.  She delivered!

Here's a sneak peek of some of the cards and videos I'll be sharing this week.

But first, a Blog Hop!  If you have joined here first, or somewhere else along the hop, you will want to start back up at the top, and hit Catherine's blog.  Leave a comment by 9am EST on Tuesday for your chance to win one of these boxes for free!  Woot-Woot!!!  Then come back tomorrow and start at Catherine's blog for day 2 of blog hops and giveaways.
