This verse offers comfort in stormy times of life. I wanted the verse to be the focal point of the card, so to make this card I did the ink block smooshing technique. Basically I squished ink onto a large block, spritzed with water and squished it onto my cardstock. After letting it dry I was able to stamp my image and doodle some lines. It was then that I decided the background would look good with some watermarks to play off of the anchor, so I stamped the sentiment onto a post-it note and cut it out to create a mask before spritzing with water. Next I did some grunge stamping using the linen background stamp.
