Calling All Sistahs November Reminder

It's the 17th of the month and that means it is time for the Encouragement Squad at Calling All Sistahs to remind you to do your breast self-exams and get those mammograms scheduled if it is time.  Early detection is key to long term survival.  



A few weeks ago a friend reached out to me to tell me she found out she has breast cancer.  Her double mastectomy is scheduled in 2 days.  Thanks to this mission to remind with Calling All Sistahs cards, I have plenty of cards on hand to send her every week or 2 to encourage her along her battle.

Never Give Up

I'm in love with this color palette, so I made another card using it.  I also pulled out my patterned papers.  They've been collecting dust in my stamp room and I've been missing them.  This pack was one I picked up in New York over a year ago!  Don't be surprised if you see a few more cards with layers on them again from me.  The tide is turning.  LOL

Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop

This is your monthly reminder ladies (and gents) to do your breast self-exams and schedule your yearly mammograms (if you haven't had one yet).  We like to remind you with a fun blog hop filled with hope.



Here is my card.  I really wanted the sentiments to shine on this card, so I let them have their moment in the spotlight by stamping them on a pretty tag.
