Don't you love opening your mailbox to find an encouraging card from a friend or loved one? That is the premise behind the Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Challenge. We are helping you build your stash of card to send to encourage others one challenge at a time. This month's challenge features a bright hot air balloon.
Isn't it fun?! Here is how I interpreted the inspiration photo.
Now head on over the Calling All Sistahs blog and check out what the design team has come up with, then be inspired to add your own creation for a chance to win a $25 gift code to the CAS-ual Fridays store.

Your card was one of my favorites in something where you added it to a list. I like that it looks encouraging without drawing too much attention to cancer. I know that may go against the flow, but if I had the disease, a card that mentioned or emphasized the disease would not do nearly as much to comfort me as this one. The other would be a reminder of the problem. =)
Thank you, Susan. That is an interesting perspective. I have a friend that battled breast cancer and HATED the color pink. Couldn't stand it or the reminder. All of her cards were made without a stitch of pink on it. This card could work for any type of encouragement a person needs.
How did I miss this? I LOVE that background that you did on this!! Looks fabulous with the balloon!!
